Welcome to BioFabrications, starting as a consultancy in 2007 by Carlos Uranga, M.Eng.; Bioengineer, Computer Vision/Robotics Dual Masters - now serving as a mentor for strategic, often stealth startups.  Biofabrications, in theme can be considered his 

"life's work in preventative medicine".

Carlos Uranga has 20+ years of experience in Biotechnology, 7 years as a startup founder on 3 different deep-tech projects, as well as countless engagements as a consultant. His most recent 'public' position was at Singularity University (SU.org) as the Director of the Innovation Lab, part of a Google sponsored 'University of the futurist'.  A place where one can build and dream up anything with 'exponential technology', guided towards solving the world's most intractably hard (i.e. grand-challenge) problems.  

Guided on the principle "Work on the hardest, most positively impactful problem you can possibly think of – and turn it into your MTP – Massively Transformative Purpose".  It was a perfect fit for Carlos' life-long ethos.
